Chinese modernization is the modernization that brings common prosperity to all Chinese people. In recent years, the railway authority has accelerated the construction of railways in western regions. High-speed railways have successively opened for operation, including the Guiyang-Guangzhou High Speed Railway, Shanghai-Kunming Railway, Chengdu-Guiyang High Speed Railway, and Anshun-Liupanshui High Speed Railway, connecting eight prefectures and cities in Guizhou Province with high-speed railways.

Meng Aijun said, adding that thanks to the modernized railway network and the intensive operation of CRE trains, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and international freight trains on the China-Laos Railway, Guizhou has efficiently connected with the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, and the BRI, gradually transforming from an inland hinterland to an open highland.

　　In August 2023, the Guiyang-Nanning High Speed Railway was fully opened, effectively enhancing the freight capacity of the railway trunk line of the mid-line channel of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, promoting domestic and international dual cycles, and bringing more development opportunities and cooperation space for ethnic minority areas in Southwest China.

It is necessary to promote the effective circulation of people, goods, information, and capital domestically and internationally, build the Guizhou hub economic circle of the BRI, and empower the high-quality development and modernization construction of ethnic minority areas," said Meng Aijun.

　　The Guiyang-Nanning High Speed Railway has built six new stations in Guangxi. "After the opening of the Guiyang-Nanning High Speed Railway, Guangxi has achieved high-speed railway connectivity between all cities, facilitating the export of agricultural products from ethnic minority areas along the route and the introduction of resource projects from other places. The old revolutionary base area of Hechi City in Guangxi is accelerating the construction of the high-speed railway new area," said Wei Zhenling, a member of the National Committee of the CPPCC and Director of the Seventh Procuratorial Department of the People's Procuratorate of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. According to Wei, now is the time for spring plowing and preparing for planting, and the railway promptly transports fertilizers, seeds, and other agricultural materials to the fields, contributing to rural revitalization and common prosperity.
